I already have a flat bed scanner, that I use rarely, but now not a day goes by when I don't use my Fujitsu ScanSnap.
It's fast, easy to use, will scan multiple pages with ease, single and double sided, takes up no room on my desk, and packs away with my laptop when I need to take it on the road with me.
Where I once filed papers away, I now scan and shred. Everything I can think of warranties, receipts, documents.
The Fujitsu ScanSnap takes them all.
I just wish I had discovered it sooner!

Fujitsu ScanSnap S300M for Mac high speed document scanner
Just press the "SCAN" button to digitize documents and speedily show images the way they are meant to be seen
All you need to do to quickly digitize paper documents is place them in the S300M's hopper and press the "SCAN" button. The S300M automatically recognizes document sizes and shows images as they are meant to be seen without forcing you to worry about de-skewing, correcting image orientation or removing blank pages.
The world's smallest A4 duplex ADF scanner
At half the size of other ScanSnap scanners, the S300M is designed to be the smallest ADF scanner.The S300M is compact enough to carry around and you will never have to worry about finding a spot to place it.
Holds up to 10 A4 sheets at a time
The S300M is able to scan up to 8 double sided color pages (16 images) per minute.
Able to run on USB bus power
